Munchkin fun and dining out.
A 25th birthday deserves some extra attention, so we went out to dinner yesterday. At a italian/mexican place, of all things *lol* But it was actually a cosy place, so I think we will go there some time again, if the occasion calls for it.
And afterwards, since having a big party in the middle of the week is no good, we decided to have a real Munchkin battle instead. Boyfriend, Simon and I. I bought boyfriend the two expansion pack thingies as a birthday present, and so we had a ton of new, hilarious cards to play with. And blank cards! Boyfriend has already come up with two new monsters:
The cowardly leprechaun, that runs away if the player has more levels than him
The Mother-in-law. She convinces your spouse to divorce you and you must give up half your possessions. Can't wait! :)
Oooh and I had some serious luck with it yesterday. Somehow I managed to build up a total amount of 32 in bonuses (usually you're lucky to have 8 or 10). Without cheating! Although both boyfriend and Simon were yelling that I was cheating and both teamed up against me. Munchkin is so much fun! You get to be evil and... yes, evil.
It's snowing today. I tried yelling some choice words to the weather gods about it, but they don't seem to listen. I don't want snow. I don't need it! It's cold, and ICKY and makes Pea loose grip on the road, meaning we can't take her out driving anywhere. Yes, we need new tyres, but we also need to get her re-registrered in our name and pay the ruddy give-us-money-so-that-you-can-drive-on-our-lanes-streets-and-highways tax. Ca. 450$ that is... grrr... So, tyres will have to wait. As will the cavity I still need to have taken care of, and the evil wisdom teeth. But the cavity, I will try to have done by April, and I can wait that long. And the wisdom teeth? They're not bugging me. Dentist-man just wanted to keep me coming back so that he could earn a little extra money. I don't blame him, of course, but I do think I am capable of deciding whether I hurt or not from biting my cheek. I don't.
