Ow...
Bah... I'm sick. It seems like it's the thing to be nowadays, so why shouldn't I be also?
Anyway, woke up with a seriously hurting throat, and have barely been able to speak all day. Something which certain people would take as a blessing I guess. I was even told to speak up in class, and I've never heard that before. I have no problem, usually, speaking loud enough for everyone to hear. And when I didn't today, everyone worried about me. OK, so I think I had a touch of fever also, and shouldn't have gone in the first place, but the oral exam is coming up soon and I can't miss a lecture before that. So... I probably shared all my bugs with everyone in my class. And just barely an audible voice, meant no heavy discussions. Aw poo... boring!
I came up with a theme for the home exam assignment thingy I've been so stressed out about. There's this book, "Mengele Zoo" by the norwegian author Gert Nygårdshaug that deals with terrorism in a slightly different way. It's terrorism seen from the side of the terrorist. And without judgement. Basically, it's about a man who tries to save the planet from extinction by killing the people who are responsible for the destruction. It's different, it's provocative and very fascinating in a not-that-I-would-ever-support-this-but-I-do-understand-why-someone-could-do-this kind of way.
So I will be writing my assignment on the terrorism-issue in this book, how it's portrayed, how the author manages to make the reader sympatize with the killer and yah... along those lines.
It could get interesting. I will try to see if I can get a hold of the author also, that would be really fun! :)
Went to Lidl today to do some shopping for my birthday party. I've just invited a few friends over, we will have cake and wine and candy. And singstar.
And, yay, at Lidl all the easter candy was at half price, so we got away with less money than what we had expected. I even had a little to spare so that I could pick up a few easter bunny decorations, bunnies on a stick to put in flower pots.
Oooh and they had all the typical German easter candy. I was bouncing around like an idiot when I saw the lady bug chocolates that I always kept for months and months when I got them as a kid. I kept them, of course, because we couldn't get them here in Norway, but my grandparents had to send us the candy from Germany. But now I CAN get them! Not that I really know how they taste anyway... I think I always saved them. In fact, even though we bought two packs of them, I dunno if I will be able to peel off the tin foil wrap and eat the chocolate. Ah, the horror! I can't eat them! Poor buggies!
I also bought some chocolate eggs with cherry liquor inside. They're for my mum, I'm making her an easter egg this year. She always fills eggs for everyone in the family, but never gets one herself. This year she will be getting one! :)
But I need to get to bed. Kinda woozy now...
