What a beautiful day!

Today was brilliant! Not a cloud in the sky and 12 degrees celsius outside (approx. 53 F).
I went for a walk into town to get some essentials (mushroom and avocado! *lol*) instead of taking the bus, and I had to take off my jacket! When I got back, Simon showed up to have a look at Pea, and we drove all across the island, testing it. That was another thing that made my day, Pea is not in such bad shape after all! She needs new brakes in front and another minor thing I didn't get anything of. And a little rust of course, but that is pretty darn obvious even to someone like me, hah! But that's it. Simon also has some scary plans on how to make Pea look more... original. It involves flames and rally wheels and icky hubcaps (sp?). OK, so she's not a beauty, that I can agree with, but I want to keep her red. I'll allow small flames though.. hahaaa.

Seriously, sunshine is such a morale booster for me now after the long, cold winter. It was sooo lovely to spend so much time outdoors today and not to mention, having ice cream outdoors. Yum!
