Some piggie photos!

Blogger was stupid yesterday, so I was unable to post anything. Grrr...
But here are two piggies of mine! Taken with print screen from my webcam.

This is Pinky. And me, with my new hair cut, although it wouldn't seem new to you as I never did take any photos of me when it had grown terribly long again. Hah!
But see, Pinky's developed brown ears and darker spots around her nose! If you look at the baby photos I have somewhere around here, she's all pink and white. Hence the name.

This furry, blubby thing is my teddy piggie, Lilo. After she had the babies, she was slim and had a lot of extra skin on the sides. Not anymore! That's all been filled up with flub! She's one porky piggie! Or maybe she just seems to be, because Monster is a tiny pig. We love her anyway.

I hardly slept last night. Dunno why, but I had one twist-and-turny night. Around three a.m I woke up to the smell of something burning, but it was only a whiff, nothing very near by. (Most likely it was, as I read about in the papers this morning, the three cop cars that got torched during the night. The time fits and it's just across the canal from here.) But still it really unsettled me. I'm completely hysterical about fires, after a traumatic experience as a kid.
Germany has more violent thunderstorms than what we have here in Norway, and one time, I think I was around four or five years old, a lightening bolt struck Oma & Opa's neighbour's house when we were visiting. I remember being on Oma's arm, standing in the kitchen, when the ground shook and the loudest noise I had ever heard occured.
The building that got struck was a farm house, and they kept hay in the attick. Which of course caught fire. And I can still remember the images of the raging fire against a black sky, hear the sounds of fire trucks and... Ick... Both thunderstorms and fire completely freaks me out, even today. I've loosened up a little regarding the thunderstorms, but not the fire.
Heh... I remember I always kept a bag of my favorite toys next to my bed after that incident, so that I could easily grab it if we had to flee the house. Ick...
