Bad pig!
"In-laws" (Love and I aren't married, but I call his parents that because it's easier) were here this weekend, and on Sunday we went to the fair. It was the last day of the fair and we hadn't been there yet (it was open all week because of May 17th).
Being the little kid I am about these things, I headed over to the petting zoo right away. Llamas, sheep, cows and mini pigs, I mean, it's fun! And you could feed the pigs with puffed rice. There were two of them, and they were very eager to have their snack. But they were harmless about it and I had some real fun feeding them. Until one of them got a little too eager and accidentally bit me that pig! It didn't look too bad, but I rushed to the nearest restroom anyway to get it cleaned. And disinfected it when I got home one hour later. But even though it's not much of a bite, it's a bit puffy and has been for two days. And it's been over 10 years since my last tetanus shot, so I have an appointment at the doc's in two hours to have it looked at. Tetanus is some seriously scary shit, you have about a 50% chance of ending up 6ft under if you get it. Which is why I ordered the doc appointment. I feel like a real hysterical idiot showing up there with the tiniest little sore, but better safe than sorry.
Well, the main reason why I feel like an idiot is because I always feel like an idiot showing up there. I went several times last summer/fall because of strange chest pains and they didn't find anything. I still have those pains from time to time, but simply don't bother with taking it to them anymore. It just costs more money I don't really have and they don't find anything. But it seems to me as if they don't find anything, they assume it's something mental and that bugs me. Which is why I always feel like an idiot coming there... And it won't be any better now when I don't have a big gash to show for. Bah!
