Eeeek!

There was a big thunderstorm outside earlier today. I was on the computer, listening to music as I SAW THE FRIKKIN LIGHTNING BOLT HIT THE TREES RIGHT OUTSIDE! And then immediately the loudest sound I've ever heard followed. Or, almost the loudest. THE loudest is described here (another entry explain why I am terrified of thunderstorms). I yanked out the plugs for both computers (which were running) and every plug in the entire apartment within seconds, honestly! And even though it was only around 4-ish, it was so dark out I had to light candles, but it was a bit tricky because I was shaking so hard... Damn! I haven't been that frightened in a very long time. That one cut of five years of my life, I'm sure!
The worst part is that there was no warning. It was just a bit clouded, and then WHAM! And proceeded with more thunder, hail and a wall of water falling down from the skies (at least that was what it looked like looking out through the windows). At the same time, Love was on his way back from the grocery store and he almost didn't make it home with Pea. It was raining and hailing so violently that the windshield wipers couldn't cope with it and all that water... Pea gets cranky when it's humid out, so imagine what that kind of weather did to her! (Yes, Pea is a she. It's been established many months ago *lol*)

And I was sitting in the living room with candles and shaking like a leaf... And not being able to go to the bathroom which I really had to because: 1, I didn't want to blow out the candles (and obviously, never let candles burn without watching them), 2 then I would have to turn on a light switch, which I wouldn't do either. Nuh-uh, not touching anything electrical when there's a thunderstorm outside... Yes, I am a bit too precautious, but I have my reasons.

And lastly... just yanking out the plug to my puter without letting it turn itself off (are you MAD, it uses two minutes to do so!), it f*cked up my Firefox, so I had to uninstall it and install it over again. Which made me loose my bookmarks... bummer! Fortunately, I still had a lot of them in my explorer thingy, but none of the most recent ones... bah!

So, yes... eventfull day, indeed.
(Ps: I was looking at the gorgeous castles when the lightening struck... imagine how unprepared I was! I mean, I was in my own little world! Arrgh...)
