INTERVIEW MEME QUESTIONS
I got these from felinevamp. If you want to be interviewed, look at the bottom of the post for rules. :)
1. What bad habit of yours are you wanting or trying to change?
I would love it if I had a little more self dicipline so that I would go work out more often. I'm too flubby for my own taste, and it bugs me. I don't have to be a size 6, I know that, and I will never be a size 6 either, but it would be nice to not be viewed as lazy just because I weigh too much. Because that's what people think, "she's lazy and eats crips all day". I don't. I sometimes eat crisps on weekends, but that's not very often. The dark chocolate is more my sin. And I don't drink pop or any sugary stuff either. I usually eat healthy, except the occasional pop-a-frozen-pizza-in-the-oven when we're in a rush. Fast food is not my thing. And I do work out. It's just not enough to make a difference yet. Hence the desire for a little more self dicipline.
I have to say I am lucky though. Most women on my father's side, which is where I get this from, have butts the size of barn doors (Norwegian expression). I'm not that bad. Hah!
2. What is something you have been wishing for recently?
How about 7 correct numbers in Lotto? I wish for that all the time, but the Lotto god never listens. In fact, most of my problems right now can be traced back to money issues and that just... gets me down. I guess you can say I have been wishing for a job also, as that would be more probable, but the job market here is really slow.. Bah!
3. If you were so wealthy you never had to work, what would you do?
I would write! I would go everywhere around the world to see different cultures and then I would write about them. I don't think anyone could be happy with not working at all, as it's vital to feel you're useful and that you do an effort. At least I know that I feel pretty useless when I don't have a job... :(
4. What's a talent that you have?
Breaking every little piece of self confidence I might have had down to nothing. I'm very good at that. As are a lot of girls. I sometimes wish I were a guy, because most likely, then I would have written at least two novels already and sent them in to all the publishers I could find.
I never believed in any of my "talents", whether my writing or my singing. Which I have to turn around somehow. I have to tell myself that I'm allowed to think positive thought about my own doings. I mean, I can sing, better than a lot of those who showed up at the Idol auditions, and I need to believe I can write too. Because that's what I want to do in the future, write. But I get serious writer's block when I constantly tell myself that my writing is shit. Naturally!
No, I'm not saying this to make you feel sorry for me. I'm saying this because I know it sounds rediculous, and if that keeps you from doing the same mistake, then it's worth it.
5. Do you have a crush on someone currently and if so, do they know about it?
A crush wouldn't be the right word. I love my Love. We've been together for almost three years now and living together for almost two years. We're best friends in addition to being girlfriend/boyfriend, and we even have "kids" (the guinea piggies).
