Customer... support?

Yesterday, when trying to publish my entry about the Medeival festival, I only got errors. Huh? I try logging into my ftp account using my ftp program, still errors. Login incorrect, it told me. WTF? How come my password suddenly stopped functioning? I tried logging into the email account that comes with the ftp-thingy too, same response. Seriously, what the fuck?? This password has been functioning perfectly fine for almost a year now, and we haven't had any messages from our provider saying we would get a new password.
So... I send them an email yesterday, simply explaining that the password isn't accepted anymore and wondering what's wrong.
Got a reply this morning (whoa! that was fast!) saying that I must be using the wrong password and that they'll send me a new one by mail. This is quite disturbing on two levels. One, you would think I made sure I was using the right password, right? I quadruple-checked it! And even if I had misspelled it so many times, I would have gotten the right one when using the ftp program because it is saved in my profile there. Ergo, I was using the correct password. Arrgh! I hate it when people assume I'm stupid. I'm NOT! I know what a password is and how to use it.
Disturbing (and annoying) level two, it'll take days for that bloody new password to arrive. Which means you won't be seeing my updates here in a while. Bah!
