My man's a real man... errr...

A typical guy thing is to take care of the car, right?
Sure, Pea's not very stylish or cool in any way, but keeping her clean and waxed helps a little on how she looks.
One would think this was a mans job, huh? OK, so last time Pea got waxed and buffed, *I* did it. And struggled like an idiot because parts of the varnish is very damaged and you simply can't make it look shiny anymore.
Well, today I asked Love to join me buffing the car.
He's sweet, really, but used half the bottle of the expensive Autoglym stuff I bought before I even noticed. And when things don't work the way he wants them to, he gets irritated. This includes computers (especially computers!) and Pea.
So he was muttering something under his breath that I didn't catch. Good thing, probably.
But at times he surprises me. He doesn't do very manly things like pop up the hood and fiddle around underneath there. Nor does he speed. Or watch sports all weekend. In fact, he hates sports. And the amount of mindless action flicks is only a minor part of his extensive DVD-collection.
And he's less technically talented than I am. He's the creative type, realistic things don't interest him.
Which means that I fixed the stereo and put up my own curtain thingies.
And I built the guinea pig cage.
Well, at least I learn enough to not depend on a man to fix my things!
But when having said all this, I must say Love's absolutely perfect. I don't want a macho man who'll rather get us lost instead of asking for directions. I don't need a soccer idiot occupying the telly every saturday instead of doing something fun for both of us.
And he talks about feelings without freaking out. We talk, about basically everything.
He's a big softie, and not very macho, but he's just the way I like them.
And besides, he has more muscles than me and did really buff the car better than I could. Weeee!
