Sick pig, carrying bricks and looking for new wheels.

One of my piggies, Lilo, has a weird wheezy sound to her breathing. Not wheezy as in asthmatic wheezy, but it sounds like there's snot in her nose. It's perfectly clean on the outside though. And at the moment, she's still active and eating normally. The wheezy sound has also decreased since yesterday. So far I'm not deeply concerned, but of course I don't like the situation. When piggies get sick it can go downhill terribly fast. When Monster got sick, he was just skin and bones after two days, when he originally was quite porky.
But Lilo isn't showing signs of loosing any weight. So as long as the noise keeps decreasing and she acts normally, I won't take her to the vet. Finding a decent piggie vet around here is hard and they often simply prescribe antibiotics, which sometimes messes up more than it helps.
But I am of course keeping a close look on her. Poor piggie...

Took my new laptop to school for the first time today. Mostly to get it hooked up to the wireless network at school, but also to test out how the whole taking notes on computer works.
Unfortunately the taking notes part worked better than I imagined. I don't usually take notes, because I feel I'm not fast enough to write things down and then miss out the next part of the lecture. But on computer I'm quite speedy, and managed to take notes without it disturbing my listening to the lecture.
So what's unfortunate about that you say?
My "new" laptop with the bag and accessories weights around 6 kilos. It's a beast! *lol* I need to get a laptop backpack thingy for it, 'cause otherwise it's too heavy.
I had fun sitting at the computer support office with three other people, sporting tiny laptops. Well, poo for them. Mine happen to probably be twice as fast and powerful. And has a great screen also. Except it comes in a bulky, large package. It's not really a big problem for me, 'cause I intend on using this one mostly as a desktop computer.
So... either I need to start serious workout in the hopes of becoming strong enough to lift it with one finger. Or get one of those laptop backpacks. Which is probably easier.

Pea is getting the pink slip. As soon as possible. The flat-stunt was the last drop for me, so Love and I agreed on looking for a new one. Now. Preferrably before I leave for Germany. I don't trust that rusty clonker one bit, especially not to get me to the airport, which is a two and a half hour drive. And I can't frikkin' have anything happening to it on my way to the airport, that'll make me loose my flight. Arrrgh! I feel I'm tensing up just typing this. GRrrr!
So... will find new car, hopefully get a loan and try to sell Pea. Will buff her up and make sure she looks as good as she can, and then see if someone will pay for her. No mercy anymore, sorry.
