Deep breath.

A blessed solstice to my fellow pagans! :)
I have no idea where my days went, things have been so hectic with all the preparations. But it will be such a relief to have the days grow longer again. Being so far north, wintertime is a dark one, so I guess I appreciate the solstice more than usual. I reckon it'll be dark again by three pm today, giving me only five hours of daylight and an hour of dusk.
Preparations for Yule is well underway also, being the reason I haven't posted anything in a while. So many presents to arrange, gifts to be made, cookies to be baked and apartment to clean. Right now I'm taking a breather while waiting for the newly waxed floor to dry. Then I'll try to put up our tree.
We got it yesterday, after chasing around the whole area to find the perfect tree. Well, we found the perfect tree, but it was too expensive, so we ended up buying a pretty-but-not-perfect cheaper tree. It'll do the trick, I'm sure.
Oh goodness... My head is spinning. There's so much to be done.
