Du grønne, glitrende tre goddag...
(That's Norwegian for ya, from Norway's version of "O Tannenbaum")

Here's our tree (duh!). We decorated it yesterday, and have been grinning like idiots ever since.
It's smaller than last year's tree, but the piggies have taken last year's perfect location, so we didn't have as much room any more. BTW, the tree is green, not grey like it looks here ;)
We bought this tree though, we didn't "hunt" it like my "brother in law". Some people here go and chop down a tree in the woods and call it Yule tree hunt. Well? "BIL" takes that seriously. He and his insane buddies bring shotguns with them and shoot down a tree. Apparently it's tradition. When is the hunting season for firs anyway?

This year's new decorations are old fashioned brass ornaments. Like the Santa sleigh here. They're full of details and look amazing on the tree. I think we have this sleigh, a carriage with horses, a fire truck, a steam train and a tree :)
