Greetings from Hoth!
*insert ten minutes of the rudes words you can think of here*
Someone warped something overnight. This isn't Norway, it's Siberia or Antarctica or some absurdely snowy planet, for instance Hoth (where some shots were actually filmed in Norway).

This is the same window as in previous photos. We've had 50cm of snow today, and will have another 50 tomorrow. And the wind is piling the snow up everywhere, so... oh hell...

And if the window doesn't say it all, look at this! I'm 5'7, Love is even taller. And that makes that edge...? Tall!

Because it was snowing so heavily and I had just received an SMS from a class mate who had the bus drive off the road, I asked Simon to first pick up Love and then me. Well, ordinary this is a five to ten minute ride with a car. Guess how long it took him today... An hour? Two? Nuh uh, THREE FRIKKIN HOURS!
This is his car, on his way home from letting us off. That little Toyota was simply... amazing. Everyone had problems getting around, not this little thing. Alright, some places the snow was so deep that I actually felt the floor bulge up underneath my feet, and it was one rattly ride, but whahey! Good car!

This is how Love and Simon spent those three hours stuck in one place, waiting for the traffic to get moving. Making snowmen! And yes, that's on top of the car. When they picked me up they had one fat fellow on the roof and two smaller ones on the hood. Apparently they got a lot of attention.
Yes, I know this is whiney, but come on, this is too freaky not to whine about. If you at all have the guts to go anywhere, you'll see cars strewn all around. Even if it's Norway, and even if we have more practice than, let's say Germany in driving on snow/ice/sludge. They've closed down certain roads because of arctic conditions, and we're not even a part of the arctic.
They also closed down downtown yesterday, because the police and ambulances couldn't get anywhere. I've never even heard of such a thing.
Oh goodness... I just want this absurd craziness to end. I have honestly never in my life seen anything like it, and just when I think it's as bad as it gets and I can't take any more, it gets worse!
Poo!
