Movies, movies, movies!
Our local video store sells out the less popular titles every three months or so. This time they did so dirt cheap. Usually we pay 59kr for one (about 8,50 $), but today you could buy ten for 300kr (44$) in total. So of course we went berserkus ;)
I bought these titles:
"Napoleon Dynamite" - Well, the dude on the cover looked weird. I just wanna see it.
"House of wax" - Simply to see someone off you know who.
"If these walls could talk 2" - I've seen the first one and loved it. Hoping this one will be good too.
"Kinsey" - Been wanting to see this one forever.
"The wedding date" - Something romantic for those blanket/tea/jammies moment.
"Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy" - Still haven't seen this, and that's a shame!
"Garden State" - Heard so much about it, mostly good stuff. Curious!
"The Interpreter" - Saw the trailer for it, seems like a movie worth seeing.
"Dickie Roberts- Former child star" - I'm hoping this is dead silly and I'll love it. If not, I know who to give it to.
"Sin City" - Bah... Still haven't seen this one, but Love says he thinks I'll love it.
"De-Lovely" -Trailer got me hooked, been wanting to see this ever since.
"War of the worlds" - The only one of the movies I've actually seen. Great popcorn entertainment, and kick ass sound design.
"21 grams" - This also seems like my type of movie.
"Salem's lot" - Probably one shitty movie, but it's based on one of my favorite Stephen King books (at least it was when I read it at 14)
"The manchurian candidate" - I'm not really the thriller-loving girl, but this seems like an intelligent one.
Oh goodness... That's a lot of titles. But the whole sell out thing at our video store, that's the one reason for our large collection of dvds. I'd say more than two thirds of my movies are bought at one of those sales. And sheesh, 30kr for one movie? I can't even rent one that cheap!
But I have to work this weekend. So no vegging out in front of the telly for me. Boohoo...
