Holiday wishlist meme.
Holiday Wishlist Meme
Step One - Make a post to your blog with a list of ten wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for Harry Potter on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want. - Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your blog, or link to this post so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two - Surf around to see who has posted a list. And now here's the important part: - If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it. - You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. - There are no guarantees with this project, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
My wishlist.
1. My amazon wishlist. It has some books, some cds and computer games that's on my regular wish list.
2. Anything from this store, Pixelgirlshop. Cute plushies, adorable jewellry, I basically love all of it.
3. A happy and peaceful holiday for my family and I. The last couple of months have been very hectic and dramatic, family-wise, and I pray for some un-dramatic and quality family time now.
4. To pass my exams and be a brave student (and of course I realize I am the only one who can grant me this.)
5. Cheaper power. Got the electricity bill yesterday and almost passed out. What the fudge is going on? Unfortunately there was no mistake, so we have to cough up blood money for this now. I hope certain relatives won't mind getting gifts made out of recycled paper from our junk mail? (It's not that bad, but yes, I need to be creative with the gifts this year.)
6. Extra time so that I can work on my novel project.
7. Home made mix cds with new music. I love discovering new stuff!
8. Home made cookies. Preferrably ginger bread. As soon as I'm done with my exams, I will start on making an amazing ginger bread house. That is, if I can manage to melt sugar and put it together without getting 3rd degree burns.
9. Pretty holiday cards that I can collect and keep for years to come.
10. A happy holiday to all my loved ones.
