I need a penguin! ASAP!
No, not really. I mean, where would I keep it? And it would probably smell like fish all the time and I'd be all "huh, where does that fishy stink come from? Me? I showered this morning! Sheesh... it STINKS in here!"
Then again, it's cold and snowy outside. It could stay outside for a couple of months. After that, I would have to take it to work with me and put it in the dairy fridge room. Wonder how long that would last before customer complaints would force poor Pingu out of there...
Today has been the first really cold day this winter. We had -10 C here this morning, Mum further inland had -22. Brrrrr cold!
I had a quick glance at the grade outside this morning and suddenly felt a strong urge to skip class. My bed was also begging me to return to its warm, comfy duvets.
But nooo... I did the only decent thing to do. I went to school (well, Love drove me there to be exact, he didn't feel like walking 30 minutes for work today).
I do occasionally skip class on very vague excuses, but there has to be one such as "head ache" or "cough", not things such as "cold outside" or "couldn't get out of bed".
So today, sleepy and cold, I turned up for those two hours of repetitions I was very convinced I wouldn't get any benefit from simply because I was worried the others would think I was a lazy bum who didn't bother to show up for school.
I should have just stayed home. Turns out the professor was sick, so there was nothing going on there today.
And instead of spending the time reading and being a good student, I had coffee and a waffle with some fellow students who also showed up.
Oh well. At least I had some company. And it was, although cold, very pretty outside. Bright sunshine, crisp clear air, frosted trees and snow everywhere. If I hadn't been worried about my hands freezing onto the cell phone, I would have taken some photos for you.
