A.n.n.o.y.e.d

I'm a teensy tinsy bit annoyed right now. I've been fighting it off for a while now, but today Blogger finally forced me to swap to the new version with the google crap and all. I mean, sure, gmail is very likely not crap and in comparison hotmail is probably a lot crappier, but I.don't.like.being.forced.to.do.anything. It will automatically make me resent it. What do I need labels for? Or another email account when I already have three, one of which I haven't even been able to access because I don't have the password for it (and that's a bit daft because it's my official school email, but hey... forced upon me, so of course I resent that one too)?

And I was in such a cheery mood when I sat down to blog today, gee thanks blogger.
And I've forgotten what I wanted to blog about.

Oh yeah! "Hot Fuzz" ! Love and I saw it last weekend and my abs (haha, they are there somewhere) are still sore from laughing so hard. It's pretty much an absurd action comedy parody, and one of the main characters is a run away swan. How can you not like that? I can't say much else, except it's bloody brilliant (oh yeah, and that IS a cauliflowerheaded old lady Nicholas Angel is roundkicking in that trailer). Ooh, and the Poshmobile's twin is gunned down. Kinda fun seeing all those Rovers there. But it's a British movie after all. Poor Mrs. Bucket.

On another note... That little "exam" I was cramming for last month, I passed! Yay. And the essay on art was handed in on Friday, so that's one module down, one to go.
For the last module, it's a 10 page essay on either an adaptation, a movie/poster or a comparative study of how different artforms influence each other within a time period.
I haven't decided yet, but I have an alternative for each possibility. Either comparing three Cinderella adaptations ("Ever After", "A Cinderella Story" and Disney's version), analyzing Baz Luhrman's "Romeo + Juliet" or the 1910 to 1920 with dada and all the loonies.
I kind of fear the Cinderella one would be very girly and reveal me as the hopeless romantic sucker I am (whereas for now I've always done artsy weird stuff and gained a rep for loving non-mainstream movies, which I also of course do), but then again I've seen those movies so many times.
