Weeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

I finally got it! After so much hassle, I now finally have that which I have coveted for months and months without end.

Maybe you remember this post, from my birth day.
Yes. It's mine, my own... my precious!
Camera! It can do 16:9 format shots, like this one:

But boy, getting it... first I ordered it online. But they had problems getting new cameras from Panasonic. Then this thursday I handed in my last exam and went by train to Oslo to buy it from another camera shop.
Got home, unpacked it and noticed... WTF? A bubble of air or a scratch on the lense! It's supposed to be a bleeping Leica lens, I thought Leica meant quality.
Anywho, went back to Oslo yesterday (friday) to exchange it for a new one and now it's just bliss. :)
I'm still using the automatic setting though, because it's sooo complicated and I need to read through the instruction manual. But it's very, very pretty, and it has excellent ergonomic. Me like!
But I'll babble on more about the camera later. I'm not feeling very well. Was at work today and nearly puked, pluss splitting head ache and had to leave early. Ick... Hopefully I'll be allright tomorrow, because there's no one to step in for me if I'm still ill.

BUT there's the Eurovision Song Contest tonight! They say that laughter is good for you, so that ought to cure me right away!
I'm still miffed about the semi-finals. Not so much that Norway didn't make it, because I didn't think our song was any good, but none of my favorites made it through. Like Karla, I had Denmark and Switzerland as favorites because they were hilarious, but some serious mafia business was going on and all of the east european contributions were voted in and the west left out. Too many people seem to think politics instead of "quality" when voting, and that pisses me off, it's against the whole point of ESC. A proper ESC song should be silly, the costumes sequined and have a key change at the end.

At the finals, I'm rooting for The Ark. I love that band, and I haven't heard their ESC song, but I'm convinced it kicks ass, because they always do.

Ick... Hauling my sick ass over to the couch now. See you on the other side of the madness that is ESC :)
