Need... air...

Hello. I'm still around here somewhere. Although I think I may be lost in a time and space continuum.

Between naps I'm at show rehearsals, singing at the top of my lungs and wondering when the world will stop spinning around me.

Be patient with me. I'm back to ordinary, non-stardom life in a week.

Must... have... coffee... now.

Eh... huh?

"The road to hell is paved with good intentions."
I've been musing over this proverb the last couple of days now. Don't ask me why, I wouldn't have a decent explanation for it.
But it's an absolutely silly saying! Say I help an old lady across the street. Out of the intention to be good and kind. And I do this repeatedly (assuming there are a lot of old ladies that need to cross the street), would this imply I would be straight on my way to hell? What's wrong with good intentions? Shouldn't it say BAD intentions? Like, if I stole said old lady's wallet while helping her? That would be more evil, wouldn't it?
And who's more likely earned eternal damnation, the one who throws rocks at boys or the one who intends to recycle all her trash but never gets around to do it? Either way, I'm screwed.
(there was this one incident involving rock-throwing at a boy, which earned me my one and only grounding, which was silly anyway because I was only curious to what would happen if I threw a rock. It wasn't what it's cracked up to be, I did it in front of his mum and naturally got caught. Having your freedom taken away, granted only for a few hours, was a tough lesson I must say.)
Not that I worry about such matters, really. That eternal damnation thing, it is so out of date. It's sooo 16th century, really.

On a completely different hand, this girl has learned some moves today. Well, they're not completely learned just yet, and it is very unlikely I will be dancing on stage anyway, as only the "best" will be there. I've decided to be a bit more student-like and joined the cabaret show... Meet some new people, make a few friends, remember why I usually avoid those things.
But I've never been a dancer. I have more dedication than talent I guess. We'll see. I might have fun. And lots of work ahead of me. Opening night is in two and a half weeks and nothing is ready yet. Eeep!

Bleeting bambis!

Bambis are evil. EVIL I tell you!
Staring at you with their glowing little beady eyes, breaking down every single cell in your body until you're a puddle of yuck on the floor!

Well, not really.

But they can be frightening. Especially if it's 1 a.m. and you're up reading because you can't put away the new Shopaholic book, and suddenly there's a loud noise and you think there's someone in the room with you (in addition to sleeping boyfriend who grinds his teeth) and your initial thought is that you're only wearing panties (insert pervvy google hits paranoia here)and how embarassing that would be if it was a burglar, and THEN you realize the noise is coming from right outside the window, and you remember that this is bat Bambi country and it's more likely to be a bleeting deer than a burglar. You try to wake boyfriend to make him scare the Bambi away, but he's not conscious and you prod him once more to no use. After listening intently for a minute for kronsheing sounds, you put on the closest sweater, just in case it really is a burglar, get out of bed and peek through the blinds. And there's the culprit, a white-bummed Bambi staring at you. You try to shoo it away, but the Bambi just stares at you, considering that you might be yummy food and you think "Oh well, I need to keep reading anyway, to find out if that Venetia Carter woman really is evil or if it's all in Becky's head" and you go back to bed and read another hour before falling asleep.
