Scotty, beam... all my stuff and furniture over to the new apartment please.
Tomorrow is the big day. We get the keys to the new apartment and we start moving our stuff from here to there. We also loose our internet connection, and will probably be without until early november. And without cable... Luckily we have lots of films and hardly any spare time to watch telly anyway.
But pretty big deal getting the keys to OUR first home. As in, WE own in (or, to be very technical, the bank practically owns it because it can sell it if we don't pay our mortgage). I'm naturally extremely excited about it, but at the same time I'm sick and don't have much energy, so it feels like such a hassle to get all our stuff from here to there. So many boxes, and so much furniture, or at least it feels like it.
Perfect timing, as usual. Last time was the bronchitis during christmas, that was also very very skilled timing. This time it's dizziness and headaches, and the doc, by process of elimination, thinks its a viral infection in the inner ear, that thing that controls our balance. But just in case I'm also having my turnip scanned. CT or MRI, I don't remember. I was freaked out just by hearing she wanted to do such an exam, so I didn't catch the details. Nor do I understand the difference. I only know I hope they don't find anything sinister. But it is definitely a big freak-out deal. Eeek! And I'm told not to get stressed, I should relax as much as possible. Which is frikkin easier than it sounds, considering Mika is the closest I get to "Relax" these days.
Oh, but next week I can enjoy my new kitchen and dishwasher and windows where you can actually see what kind of weather it is outside, and warm fireplace and huge balcony where I can put my narcissus and tulip bulbs in the cool tubs I got for them and I can decorate for Halloween and... it'll be nice. Very nice.
So buh byes for now, hopefully when the internet shows up again I will have more time left for blogging. I hope everyone enjoys their Halloween and eats lots of candy :)
