Duty entry
I'm being a good girl these days. There's so much wedding related stuff that needs to be done, and I have a one track mind these days. Or, a two track mind that is. Wedding and new work. I don't know which one that excite me the most, it's pretty much a tie at the moment.
The job is big, big stuff. It's not a measly cashier or coffeemaker kind of entry level job (not that that would be wrong, I'm just skipping some steps).
I had to pick out a laptop and a cell phone too. I'm all "oooo new toys!" and the next second I wonder "why me? oh noes, what am I doing?". It's terrifying, but so exciting at the same time.
And so much all at once... I start the new job only a couple of weeks before the wedding. I already apologized in advance to my new boss if I'm absent minded, and then there's the whole puzzle of how to fit in hair dresser, dress fittings, decorations and oh my...
But it's under control. At least I think it is. We're meeting with the caterer on monday to decide on the menu, wednesday (my birthday incidentally) we're picking out an outfit for future-hubby and I'm having my dress fitted next week.
I still need to decide on the flowers, seating charts, car, veil and so on. I have a list with me at all times, so that I can check off every item on it as I take care of them.
I had no idea planning a wedding was such hard work! There's so much to think of, so many considerations to make and so much at stake. Especially because there's three other weddings in Love's family this year. Apparently they're a gossiping bunch, and FMIL is terrified that we'll look bad in comparison. I don't think she has any reason for it though, as we're not cutting any corners.
Sorry... the one tracked mind... not very blogable.
