About time...

Considering the amount of major announcements this autumn, you would think there couldn't be more, huh?

Weeeell...

No, I'm not preggers. But I have a new job!!
The photo place thing was, from my point of view, a temporary sollution until I could find something else, and now I have.

In a couple of months time I'll be a proper computer and camerastuff journalist!
And I'm competely psyched about it! :)
When I applied for the job, I didn't have much hope of landing it, considering my lack of experience, but I've been through a couple of tests now and apparently beat the rest of the applicants. Yay for me!
Yay for a proper, relevant-to-my-education type of job! Love's even more excited than me, he's told all our friends and then some.
It sure feels like a huge triumph after being so bummed about taking all that time and money to study and then not having any use of it.
And I even earn more, although I just break even with the photo place when calculating in the cost of commuting.

Anyway, I'm really happy today. :)
And then at the same time I came across some dresses I might be able to use for my bridesmaids, which is a real hassle to find.
Here in Norway, bridesmaids are usually kids you're related to , not your best friends. Therefore most of the dresses are meant for 2-8 year olds.
But my bridesmaids are a niece, a cousin (both 12) and my sister (14), and finding a dress that fits the 12 year olds and the 14 year old is practically impossible. And because I need three dresses, they have to be affordable also. Tricky combo, and something that's been given me a headache for months.
But if it turns out I can use those dresses I found, I won't have to worry any more.

Both these things in one day? I guess I didn't get up on the wrong foot, to put it that way...

Another thing, the sunrise today was a-m-a-z-i-n-g. Now that we have more day light and stuff, the sun rises about the same time as I get up and today it looked like the sky was on fire. I took some photos, I'll share them when I get home :)

And... the invitations for the wedding goes out today. Finally! It's been a huge weight on my shoulders, not having them done yet, but we did the finishing touches yesterday and will be mailing them today. Yay for that too! I must say, I'm pretty darn pleased with how they turned out. There was some beef with FMIL because she didn't like the colour (and told Love to pretend that HE didn't like the colour, so that I would reconsider, pretty stupid when I was sitting right beside him and heard every word she said on the phone), but I love them. They're a sort of apple green with shimmer, a white translucent ribbon across and white shimmer embossing two hearts. It doesn't photograph well, but I'll try so that I can show you.

Oh oh!! And we picked up my dress last week! It's even prettier than I remembered it. And fits perfectly! The only thing that needs fixing, is the halterneck strap that's a couple of centimetres too long, but the length of the dress is perfect and it fits great around the waist too. Yay for that!
It's so pretty, I have to check in on it every so often just to make sure it's still gorgeous. I love my dress!
