The enjoyable politics of Lehrer?

Some people are suddenly not able to enjoy Tom Lehrer when they read some of the interviews he has done. It seems that Lehrer's political views spoils the enjoyment.

Yes, Lehrer has stated that he disliked the public spending on the landing on the Moon in 1969 and also the manned space program in general.
