Tom Lehrer and the funny business
The series 'Make 'Em Laugh - The Funny Business of America' is out on DVD! The record company is Rhino Records and the DVD's are available HERE.
You will find the DVD on Amazon HERE.
Buying this DVD set is currently one of only two options if you want to own a broadcast quality recording of Tom Lehrer performing on video. The series used (a part of) two songs.
Thirteen/WNET and Ghost Light Films bought out the rights to use a Tom Lehrer song from the YouTube performance. It was used in episode six called 'Sock it to Me?; Satire and Parody'.
Please check out the links below the image.
The picture shows some of the comedians who appeared. Programme host was Billy Crystal.
