Description of the villa and garden:
- This house contains 4 bedrooms, living room, kitchen (dishwasher), dining room, bath with a bathtub, toilet, room for washing machine, hall and double garage.
- It has a big garden (2800m2) with swimming pool (4x8 meters), half a tennis court where you play against a wall.
- It lies in a "private", quiet and sunny place with a nice view to the surrounding hills. The living room, kitchen, dining room and two bedrooms have double doors out to the garden, which is very nice when it gets hot.
Places close by
- 1 km (10 minutes walk) from the village of Flayosc, which has "small" shops, restaurants and cafe's.
- The delightful medieval village of Flayosc is typically Provencal with its large shady square, cafes, weekly market and excellent shops for food.
- Surrounded by vineyards and olive groves,
it is the perfect place for a peaceful holiday well away from the busy tourist spots of the coast.
- In the immediate vicinity, the beautiful countryside and wooded hills are perfect for walking.
- Many attractive villages, antique/flea markets, restaurants, crafts and art exhibitors.
- In the south/east larger provencial town Draguignan which has everything a "big" town
can contribute like supermarkets, shopping, museums, restaurants...
- In the north villages like Tortour (beautifull view), Aups (saturday marked), Ampus etc.
- In the west small nice villages like Lorques (Tuesday marked), Les Arcs etc.
Places more than 20 minutes away
- 30 minutes drive from the Mediterranean (St. Maxime/St. Tropez / Frejus / St. Rafael).
- 60 minutes drive from the Nice international airport.
- Half an hour south you come to the coast with nice beaches. and villages/towns like St. Maxime (30 minutes), St. Tropez (40 minutes), St. Raphael (30 minutes), Frejus (30 minutes), Cannes (40 minutes) etc.
- In the north you find Europe's Grand Canyon (Gordes Verdon) and Lac St. Croix (40 minutes)
is great for picnics, sailing, pedaloe into the incredible Gorges de Verdon.
- In the west small nice villages like Cotignac etc.
- In the east nice villages/towns like Mougins, Fayance, Grasse etc.
Practical information
- Renting period is from Saturday (arrival after 16:00) to Saturday (departure latest 10:00).
- Cleaning should be performed by the guests on departure.
- Linen and towels should be brought by the quests.
- The rent includes all use of gas and electricity.
Payment information
- 30% of the rent shall be paid together with the signing of the contract. The
leasing-contract is valid when the deposit is paid to the house owners account.
The rest of the leasing-amount is to be paid at the latest 2 months before start
of the rental period. After this date the rental amount is not refundable if
cancellation. If the guests finds other people to rent, the house owner has to
approve it.
- When we reseive a reservation, we send a contract to the leaser by email or fax.
- We ask him/her to send the signed contract together with a receipt on paid "deposit" to the owner by post or by fax.
- When we have received the signed contract and deposit, we sign the contract send the signed contract in return to the leaser.
- Two weeks before the rental period we give the leaser information about the delivery of the key and a local telephonenumber to the caretaker who can be in assistanse in case you need help to something.
Clause 18. Force Majeure
- A party is not liable for failure to perform the party's obligations if such failure is as a result of Acts of God (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities (regardless of whether war is declared), civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalisation, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service. No party is entitled to terminate this Agreement under Clause 19 (Termination) in such circumstances.
- If a party asserts Force Majeure as an excuse for failure to perform the party's obligation, then the nonperforming party must prove that the party took reasonable steps to minimize delay or damages caused by foreseeable events, that the party substantially fulfilled all non-excused obligations, and that the other party was timely notified of the likelihood or actual occurrence of an event described in Clause 18 (Force Majeure).
In case of dispute the matter shall be submitted to the court in Draguignan.
