Pure coincidence :-) I've been into martial arts since I saw a "Bruce Lee-movie" (ie. a Kung Fu-movie) WAY back when I was around 5 or 6 years old. Then, after watching "Karate Kid" I really-really wanted to start, but the only Karate-schools (or Dojos if you prefer) were in town - about 30/45 mins. busride from my home. And my parents didn't much like having to pay the ticket. THEN there was a "karate-school or something" starting up at Sandsli wich was about 7 mins. driving from where we lived and that was okay with my parents. It was something called Tae Kwon-Do though...not Karate, but what the heck, they had white uniforms and were kicking and punching and making all the right sounds :-)
