20040113  the font Slanted Scribble had a few whitespace errors, the file and corrsponding MD5 checksum has been corrected (also in the checksum file download). The ascii art fonts are now available at Iceman's site :)

20040111  added a small LF2 page and a page for ascii art fonts, updated the "HotBot", changed apple's name to locutus, added MD5 checksums for the downloads, and did some layout tweaks (switched to "pure" css, it has a weird bug in Mozilla, but hopefully most people will not find it).

20031220  new Armagetron trail textures; bouncing hearts and ace of spades egyptian wings :D

You'll find them by clicking the Armagetron imagelink above, at the bottom of the page is links to transparent textures made by locutus and Iceman as well (locutus made directional ones). I'll post a howto on trail texture editing in Gimp as well as Photoshop later, very easy stuff once you know it :)

I see Winamp 5 is out... yet another thing to check out sometime in the future. They say it supports Winamp 2 plugins so I'll have to run it with Streamripper.

Completely unrelated my health took a (small) dive again yesterday either due to foodtesting, or working on this site, or both :( going to see the doctor again today, hope he has some good news.

I'll get around to uploading the AltDesk and K-Lite skins I've made (cloned off/based on the increadibly sweet MMD3 skin for Winamp 3 in winshade mode) and which I've manipulated to use for the menu and content frame here (basically the grey and green stuff you're looking at :P).

20031216  seems I was almost dead after all. This year has been hell for me with a lot of different shit hitting the fan, not the least that I've been living with pretty severe food allergies for some years without realizing (still testing stuff). My world ground to a halt both this summer and in the autumn, but I'm slowly picking up speed again.

Among the few things I've been able to enjoy is the excellent game Armagetron (a SourceForge project, fully GNU GPL). Go try it out! :)

I've made a trail texture for those Armagetron players like Communist, War Monkey & me (n54) who enjoy playing fpv/cv (first person view/cockpit view). It's transparent and gives you slightly more "situation awareness" :P

Get it here (link removed see post above) and replace the file in the moviepack directory.

I'd like to post more Armagetron stuff here but... hmm... maybe a screenshot of the Armagoshdarn ladder page while I was number 1? lol

In case anyone wonders everything except getting well has been put on hold.

To any and all from the Streamripper community: my deepest apologies for not doing anything in a long while: it's gonna change (my conscience tells me so).

I'm beginning my studies at university as well, if anybody feels like playing frisbee or chaining me to a computer which only allows connections to SourceForge, or for that matter; whacking me with a sponge bat cause I'm such a lazy slob: just send a mail and we'll make an appointment ;)

btw I'm NOT dead, it just seems like it, and this site will get some new interesting (imo) links when I'm done clearing my bad SR conscience.

20030504  Not much news (been chatting to much lately) but a new Streamripper-skin is in the making, as well as at least one new picture, yet another redesign of this site (yikes!), and a few dosen ideas for small C applications (that will probably suffocate inside my head "poor things" (the ideas that is)). I'm even thinking about Winamp3 skins (and modifications for skinning Streamripper for Winamp3). Don't hold your breath waiting... (the "todo"-list is long).

I've done some minor improvements on the "HotBot" to the left though. Hopefully I'll be able to add better shading and some texture later.

20030408  Nullsoft updated the Winamp 2.x to 2.9 and there were some skinning changes, so it's already version 1.1 of the Clinical skin - and it's better. A screenshot (70% of real size) of my first public Winamp skin ever:

20030401  Major remake - I got bored with making scripts work both in IE and Mozilla, so this is a much 'cleaner' design...
...until I mess it up I guess :lol ...

Anyway it has more content. The hot bot on the left can be downloaded as a .png (right-click on the picture and choose "Save Picture/Image As...") - that's about it, not much. It took me about 26 hours to make in Photoshop using a Wacom tablet (the smallest/cheapest one they sell).

The image is copyrighted, it is not public domain, GNU GPL or Open Source.
