Hi. I'm Richard Brekne. I have been a full time professional piano technician and rebuilder since 1975 and have over 25 years concert level experience in both classical and jazz work. These include 18 years as concert technician for Molde International Jazz Festival, 20 Years as concert technician for Natt Jazz. 7 years as resident piano technician for the Grieg Academy, Conservatory of Music in Bergen, Norway. More recently I have taken over all piano technical responsibilities for Vossa Jazz and the Bergen International Festival with some 50 piano concerts in the last 10 days of May each year.
